Social at its core
Rooms full of people, voice and text, and the kind of moments you only get when everyone is in the same space together.
A social game for every age. Build things, be creative, and hang out with your friends. RECZONE is being made from the ground up by people who love what this genre can be.
A place to make things and spend time with people, not a checklist of chores.
Rooms full of people, voice and text, and the kind of moments you only get when everyone is in the same space together.
Build rooms, games, and worlds with tools that get out of your way. If you can picture it, you should be able to make it.
Designed so younger players, older players, and everyone between can share the same rooms and actually enjoy it.
No pressure and no grind. Drop in with friends, mess around, and leave whenever you want.
Our own client, our own engine work, our own future.
RECZONE runs on a client we are building ourselves. We do not depend on Rec Room's application IDs, and we are not tied to Steam to ship or to run.
This is a fan game made out of love for what Rec Room meant to its community. We are carrying that feeling forward in something new.
Funded and driven by the people who want it to exist. No publisher deciding what this becomes, just the community and the team.
We are looking for developers, artists, and designers who want to build something real. Applications are open now at rec.zone/applications.
The REC.ZONE desktop client. Everything the site does, in its own window.
We are a community-funded project and have not bought a Microsoft code-signing certificate, so Windows does not recognise us as a known publisher yet. There is no way to remove that screen without paying for one. The app is safe โ here is how to get past it:
You only see this the first time. Nothing else is different.
The platforms RECZONE will run on when it releases.
