## 🚀 **REC.ZONE — Website Update | July 9, 2026**
Hey REC.ZONE community! We've been hard at work today and just shipped a huge round of updates. Here's everything that's new:
👤 **Public Profiles (`rec.zone/yourname`)**
Every member now has a public profile page at their own URL. Show off your badges, bio, socials, and stats. Customize your page with animated background effects and set a profile music track that plays for anyone who visits.
👁 **Profile Views**
Your profile now tracks how many people have visited. View counts are protected against spam — the same IP can only add one view per hour.
🎵 **Profile Music**
Upload an MP3 directly to your profile. Visitors hear it play automatically with a clean custom player — volume control, progress bar, and loop built in.
💬 **Chat Replies**
Reply to specific messages in chat just like Discord. Hover any message and hit the reply button. Click the quote to jump back to the original.
🔗 **Click Profiles in Chat**
Click any username or avatar in chat to go straight to their public profile.
📢 **Discord Bridge**
The REC.ZONE community chat is now bridged here in real-time. Every message shows up with your username and profile picture. @mentions and pings are blocked.
🧭 **Cleaner Navigation**
The navbar is now organized into dropdowns — much easier to use, especially on mobile.
